| ReadPlease files are just text files, nothing more. If you save files from ReadPlease, they may be opened in nearly any program, such as Notepad, WordPad or Word.

| The extension is .rpps. You may save files as .rpps or as .txt files.
|
|
|
| You can open or insert any file into ReadPlease as long as it is a text file.
|
|
|
| ReadPlease reads and writes plain text files. Files with a .txt extension may be opened with ReadPlease.

| Working with Rich Text Format / Word Documents and other formats.

| If you want to read say a MS Word document, ReadPlease cannot read it directly. You must first:
|
| 1. | Launch Word
|
| 2. | Open the document
|
| 3. | From the Edit | Select All menu (this will select entire document; you may of course select any portion of the text).
|
| 4. | Launch ReadPlease and Paste it into the document window. See tutorial on working with the Windows Clipboard.

| You could also ask Microsoft Word to save the document as a text file. (File| Save As)
